Study Abroad Experiences
My interest in pursuing two study abroad programs is because of the importance of communication, developing cross cultural relationships or experiences, and enhancing my cognitive abilities. I hope to be able to apply these experiences to continue to effectively learn how to interact with global challenges, establish cross cultural communications, and become more familiar with international standards and regulations.
Tuscany, Italy | March 1-10, 2018
My study abroad experience to Tuscany, Italy was focused on completing a Management and Leadership in International Business course. I was able to gain valuable information and advice from business professionals on leadership from an international perspective. Additionally, my enriching experience involved learning about Italian history and culture, work culture, and business customs.

Havana, Cuba | June 2017
I chose to study abroad in Cuba because it is rich in history and culture. I am fascinated by their architectural gems, creativity, vibrant nature, and culinary cuisine. Furthermore, a limited number of Americans have visited Cuba due to the travel restrictions, and being one of the first few to visit continues to excite me. I studied abroad for one month through the API Program and completed two courses: Spanish advanced grammar and conversation, and Spanish Cuban culture. |

Leisure Experiences
Although the following experiences were for leisure purposes, I was still able to create meaningful learning experiences. I was able to create cross cultural relationships, grow in my second language, visit historical monuments and beautiful landscapes, and learn to adapt to new cultures.
